Instagram only lets tools like SutraDhar work with Creator or Business accounts. If yours is a personal account, switch it first.
Open your profile in the Instagram app
Tap ☰ at the top right to open Settings and activity.
Switch the account type
Choose Creator
Creator is made for people who make content. Pick any category; you can change it later.
If your account is private, switching makes it public, and pending follow requests are accepted.
Come back and connect
Tap Continue with Instagram below.
Good to know
- Your posts, followers and messages stay as they are.
- You can switch back to a personal account at any time.
- Menu names can differ slightly between Instagram versions.
